Allotoca: Allotoca Goslinei - Banded Allotoca
Goodeidae Profiles
Allotoca Goslinei is commonly known as the Banded Allotoca.  They are found under plants in shallow areas of the Rio Potrero Grande, which is a tributary of the Rio Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico...





Althought not much is known about this species, they are a greyish brown with a black spot in the middle of the body.  They are found in cold waters in Mexico.  If you have this species, please join our Goodeid Species Maintenance Program, you may be one of just a hand full of people that are lucky enough to have the species.
